Az észak-európai országok a kortárs kóruszene fellegváraiként ismertek. Nem csoda hát, hogy ezúttal Skandinávia mitikus tájaira kalauzolja hallgatóságát a hatalmasra nőtt Csíkszerda csütörtöki kórusa. A kizárólag északi (svéd, norvég és izlandi) szerzők kompozícióiból szőtt koncert egy ősi izlandi edda-történet köré rendeződik, melyet mozgással, kórus improvizációval mesélnek el. A különleges hangulatú koncert sajátossága, hogy az együttes énekesei szinte megállás nélkül hömpölygő hang-erdőt varázsolnak a közönség köré.

In Search of Time – Scandinavian choral music for 200 voices
Northern European countries are known as the citadels of contemporary choral music. There is little surprise then in the fact that the Thursday group of Csíkszerda is taking us to the mythical lands of Scandinavia next. The concert exclusively includes the works of Nordic (Swedish, Norwegian, and Icelandic) composers, telling the audience an ancient Edda story (from the Old Norse collection of narrative poems) with the help of movement and choir improvisation. The unique atmosphere of the performance roots in the singers’ ability to conjure the effect of a never-ending sound-forest surrounding the audience.
